Jigme Tenzin is natively from Rangshikar under Samkhar Gewog in Trashigang and grew up in Gomtu, a town in Samtse Dzongkhag. After completing class XII at Yangchenphu Higher Secondary School, he moved to St. Joseph's College in. North Point, Darjeeling, where he received his BA Hons. He then proceeded on to the National Institute of Education in Samtse to complete his Post graduate Certificate in Education before receiving his MA in History from Andhra University in Vishakhapatnam, India. "Odds and Passion" in his first novel. He considers his faith and family to be the most important to him. Jigme was fascinated with telling stories as a child, and this interest led to some early exposure to reading. Later, he, who now teaches history at Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School, developed a passion for ideas and started writing for magazines in school and college. With his debut as an author, he is committed to giving his readers exciting, high-stakes adventures with a story sure to melt their hearts.
