Sonam Rinchen is a 16 year old born and raised in Thimphu, Bhutan. He is a fond environment advocate and loves technology. He is the Youth Ambassador for WWF Bhutan and the president/founder of Youth for Environment. As an environment advocate, Sonam has represented youths and Bhutan in multiple panel discussions and events. The most recent being, the Global Tigers Youth Summit, where he represented Bhutan as a youth delegate and read out the youth pledge infront of world leaders. He is also the Community lead for Google Developers Group Thimphu and makes programming tutorial on YouTube. Sonam also is a fond writer and started writing his debut book, “My Glimpse of America” when he was 12 and published it in 2022.
