Inclusive of chapters about the LungtaPhodrang, Bumter, Soenam Khorlo, Thuen pa Puenzhi among others, the readers are taken on a spiritual journey where they discover and are given a heightened knowledge about ancient and spiritual good luck charms which are available all over the country yet we hardly notice. This ignites the sense of appreciation, understanding and admiration to our fading culture and traditions in this rapidly modernizing world.  The study of good luck vases like the Ku bum, Tse bum, and Yangbum, understanding of significance of Tra shi Pai zey, would mean back tracking into the hundreds of years of rich history inclusive of origin, significance and many more. In present day world where culture, traditions and values seem to be fleeting and slowly vanishing like the scenery outside a train’s window, this piece makes all reader take a breather and look around the world in a different perspective. The author not only attempts to take the readers on a spiritual journey through the hallways of rich ancient knowledge but guides the readers to live a happier life. It is indeed a wonderful read and would be useful to researchers and younger generations.
