Dorji Dhradhul is the director general of the Tourism Council of Bhutan, and the author of Escapades: Awakenings. He served as dzongda (governor) of Gasa dzongkhag (district) for almost four years, and has worked in various capacities in the fields of agriculture research, policy and development. He was the founding director of the Department of Agriculture Marketing and Cooperatives. He published a number of articles on general subjects in Kuensel and research papers, and is a desuup (guardian of peace).
