Deyzhang

Deyzhang is a children's book. Deyzhang is a found do who finds a caring home after she was lost during a storm. once adopted, Deyzang is well-loved by her owner and becomes a lovely pet. He follows the kids to school plays with the kids.
All children love pet dog. It reminds me of my own found pet Bingo. I enjoyed reading this book and still read it whenever I get time to read. I also love the other book written by Indra K Vishwa called A little thing called Love.

Room in Your Heart: Folktales from Bhutan

Room in your heart, a story written by Kunzang Choden is one of my favourite Children's Literature. The book has a lovely message of love and kindness. The pictures in the book are so nice and show the true Bhutanese home. This story has made me think that loving and sharing is so important and we must do it so often.
My mother read me this book at first but later I was able to read myself.
In the book, the main character is an old lady, who lives in a small hut but the kindness she shows is far above her poverty.
Though poor, she shares her food and her little hut with all the visitors that come her way.
This has to be the true nature of a human being.
I love this book and the beautiful pictures.
Kunzang Choden is also one Bhutanese Author I love. I love her other books like Aunty Mouse.

Monster in My Room

Monster in the room is a lovely book by Chador Wangmo, which display a child's imagination about monsters or other scary things that they imagine.
in this book, a little boy called Penjor is sleeping but he is disturbed and is scared. He imagines a monster that will eat him in different ways.
Whenever I read this book, it reminds me of my own fear of monsters, especially at night. But, the good thing is that there are actually no monsters in reality like in the book. This has helped me to overcome my fears.
I love the author and all her books. I have received two free books from the author; Monster in my room and Thungthung Thinley. Both books are my favourite.
Longing to read more new books of her in future.

Khakey

Khakay is another book by Yeshey Tsheyang Zam, her other book is Lolay. I read both her book and now I am excited to read her Dzongkha translated version of both Khakay and Lolay.
In this book, the author has shared an old culture of celebrating the first snowfall by trying to sneak in a snowball in their neighbour's house. If you are able to do this, your family wins a treat in return.
In the story, a little girl is able to do the task and in return, her family wins two treats from two families.
This snowfall I am going to do this with my neighbour.
longing to read her Dzongkha Books soon.

Lolay

Lolay is a lovley book written by a very young Bhutanese author Yeshey Tsheyang Zam. I was inspired to read this book mostly because it is written by a young author at a very young age.
Lolay is a book which refects our traditional Bhutanese celebration of singing Lolay Lolay during a festival called Nyilo. In western Bhutan, during a festival called Nyilo, children go around house to house singing a chant called Lolay which has a deep significance of blessing and wishing the family a good year.
In this book too, children go around singing Lolay. in return they are gifted with food, money, sweets and gifts. Finally, children are able to go for a picnic with the things thay have received.
I enjoyed reading this book and learnt a lot about our culture. I request young readers like me to kindly read this copy. you all will surely enjoy it.
