Within the realm of happiness is an amazing piece literature by a Bhutanese author Kinley Dorji. It is a lovely collection of short stories, memories and essay's represents a mix of childhood memories, travel tales, and contempory reflections on a rapidly changing populace. As Bhutan the modern world Kinley Dorji provides sensitive insights into the dilemmas that the people, and society, confront every day. The book was published in the year 2008. Thus i Heard

Thus i heard is an amazing piece literature by a Bhutanese author Ngawang Phuntsho. It a fool laughs thrice at a joke, Thus I heard will make you laugh endlessly. It is a collection of 108 everyday witty verbal exchanges the author had heard at different times and places in Bhutan that made him laugh out loud. It is a minefield of wits, satires, repatness, insights and humors

Switched off

Switched off is a very interesting book written by a Bhutanese author Karma Tenzin (Yongba). The new year 2015 had just been ushered in and the NEW YEAR party was breaking up. As the lights were being switched off to close down the discotheque, nobody noticed the dead body of a young man Ram Badur Grung (RBG) in the middle of the dance floor. PaSsu Dairy is a collection of selected blog entries from one of the most popular blogs. PaSsu Dairy: a journal of an ordinary Bhutanese, snapping over decade. It is a record of people places, and events surrounding the life of blogger that every Bhutanese can connect to relate with. It is a wonderful collection of stories which everyone can read. The Darkest June

The darkest June is a very interesting story written by a Bhutanese author Karma Tenzin (Yongba). Nearly a 400 years old monastery, Wangdue Phodrang, was teased by an inferno on the ground on the afternoon of 24th June 2012. The cause of fire in the 347 years old Wangdue Phodrang dzong the press reported, was due to electrical short circuiting in one the many compartments None challenge lid the press report. Treasures of the Thunder Dragon: A Portrait of Bhutan

Treasures of the thunder dragon is a marvelous book written by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck (Queen Mother of Bhutan) It is about our country's wise kings national flowers, dresses and animals. It is true that Bhutan is not other countries. It is completely isolated from the rest of the world and trapped in a time warp. I am proud to be a Bhutanese after reading this book. Monster in My Room

Monster in my room is a fabulous book by a bhutanese author Chador Wangmo. It tells about a little boy called Penjor who imagines that a monster is under his bed. Then his mother calls "Penjor is everything okay." "Oh ama there is a monster under my bed." replies Penjor. "Oh Penjor it's just your pet cat Sisi". By hearing this from his mother he sleeps peacefully. Read this book to find out the different monsters that a little boy imagines. The Morning Sun

The morning sun is a story of a young girl's instinct for survival heightened by the hopes and expectations of a better tomorrow. Her mother abandons her infant daughter born out of wedlock and leaves her to die. Of it wasn't for her grandmother, she would have died in the cold November night. But fate has other surprises in store for her.
She is a very kind girl. She doesn't have much money but always thinks about others before her. Amidst all the challenges, she looks forward to a light to dispel the darkness in her life. She sings in the clubs and earn money, she buys clothes to the poor people. And one day after signing whole night in the club she earns some money and buys two jackets for poor people. She went on hiking in the mountains when she meets a old couple she gives the jacket to them and they give her many blessings. Define Yourself

Define yourself is the story of a Bhutanese family, of young love, of friendship, of the timeless advice that a father imparts on his son. The son asks, "Apa what is the single best thing in life." The father replies "Define yourself every moment of yourself every moment of your life." The boy doesn't get anything. The learns that define is a state of meaning in school. With courage he asks his father, "Apa does my name define me." The father replies " Your name does not define you the values and attitudes you learn in life, that defines you." Then the father says nonchalantly "Live gracefully and die peacefully, the boy gawped. Define yourself is honestly a wonderful peice of literature that captures some universal truths.
